WHERE ARE WE ?
We meet on Mondays 6:30 - 9:00 and again on Fridays 7.30 - 10.00pm
Wolfstar members shoot at Pencraig Wood (see the footnote for directions) on the
at the Newbattle Community Education Centre, Newtongrange during the winter season.
A1 near East Linton, East Lothian during the summer shooting season. The course has
now been re-built to its 14 target standard and many improvements have been
made since the recent A1 renovations.Club members are free to shoot in the wood whenever they choose, so long as they
have joined the Scottish Field Archery Association, and subject to approval by one of the
coaches that the archer is shooting safely and competently. Membership of the SFAA is
compulsory for insurance purposes.Visitors to the wood are very welcome however, they must be affiliated to The SFAA or
IFAA and be accompanied by a club member. Shooting by visitors is by prior arrangement
and fees will be advised at the time of booking. Even if you have a bad days shooting
the views are spectacular so that should offset those shooting blues. If you've ever wondered why you have a bad day shooting -
you should see our members Top Ten excuses...

The above link to Pencraig Wood opens a new window; you will see Pencraig Wood
but do not take the dual carriageway (green road), take the red A1 and you can use
the car park adjacent to the main road to park. Coming from the west, the last village
you see will probably be Haddington. From the east, it will be East Linton.
